For a few years, I had installed 8 orb audio speaker (4 pairs of 2 orbs) as my dolby atmos ceiling speakers from my formal home theater. Their performance as such was great aided by a subwoofer. And yes my main and satellite speakers are many- many times the prices or orbs- although to be fair they also cover the midrange. It was just recently that I had to move in/out of an apartment; missing my theater decided to create one on a -lower- budget. I extracted 2 ouf the 8 orbr as the left and right for my new theater; while adding a WiMM amplifier and a small subwoofer that I also extracted from my larger theater. And WOW! orb speakers performed very well at the levels needed for the smaller apartment- I was so happy as it was a fair and balanced approach aided by the amp and ability to adapt to room configuration. These speakers, made in the USA- from a small company, are very - very recommended- likely the most versatile small speakers out there for the price.

I purchased Orb Audio speakers 10 years ago for my parents. Now, my brother and I also have a 5.1 orb system. We have recently upgraded some Mod1 into Mod2 and highly recommend the upgrade! Would love to see the special colours from the past such as Antique Bronze be produced again.

The 3 hole cozy bracket bar allows me to use my existing wall brackets when using a Mod2 configuration. They thought of everything. They arrived quickly. Great company to deal with. And the Orbs sound great.

I’ve owned Orbs for many years, using them in a guest room, I used to listen to Spotify, for hours on end! I decided to upgrade my receiver, and expand my ownership of Orbs, buying 2 more, to be used as a Center Channel, with the very good Dayton Sub Woofer I already own! I hooked up the speakers, in my large living room. I was worried they wouldn’t fill the room. Boy, was I wrong! They sound amazing. Listen to Spotify was monumentally better. Even regular TV sounded great. The heart of my new system, are the Orbs. For a price point that’s hard to beat. My next treat, is getting the Geek Squad, to tune my new receiver, along with the Orbs. Since I’m not a great techie, and my new receiver requires a bit of a learning curve. I’ll let the pro’s handle it, despite the ease of setting up the Orbs! If you’re looking for an amazing sound experience, I’d be hard pressed to recommend a better sounding speaker, price be damned, then these small but impressive Orbs. You just can go wrong. From a small room, to a large room to fill!

One those simple inexpensive items that's a real problem to be without when needed.

I use my 2 Orb 1-X speakers as rear L and R with my apartment hifi system and TV. Because cabling to the rears is not possible in our apartment the Orbs get signal by connection to my Soundcast wireless receiver, the transmitter being connected to my old Yamaha RX-V769 amplifier. I needed 2 new speaker stands for my Orbs, and I ordered these by email to Orb, who shipped them to me in Australia same day. All up I am very happy with the surround sound from my tiny Orbs, which always intrigue visitors! Thank you

I had ordered stands for mod2, and mod4 installs and got in depth install instructions, leads for interconnections, and a note about mod4 setup and a contact should I need technical assistance. I’ll be buying more from you all for sure.

Bought a new monitor without built-in speakers. Decided that the Orb Audio speakers & stands would be a perfectly sized solution for home office / gaming scenarios. Near-field means I don't really need a subwoofer, and the ease of driving the Orbs allowed me to use a low-cost Class D amplifier.

Not much to say. They're very simple parts, they arrived complete. I like modular aspect. I could move the "surround" speakers in our old house to double up the stereo speakers in our new house, where having wired surround speakers is impractical (and would probably be ineffective).
